Scotty, Mel and myself made a trip up to the mighty Pend Oreille River, Washington for a day of Pike fishing. The weather was about as good as it gets for early March. The Pend Oreille River is a whopping miles long. It gets its name from its starting point in Lake Pend Oreille, Idaho, and it is one of only a few rivers in the United States that travels northward.
